About the Thesis
Designing for the Neurodivergent Mind
Blink Magazine is a reach-infomred digital design guide created to help graphic designers craft inclusive and accessible visual content for neurodiverse audiences-specifically individuals with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, and Dyscalculia.
This Thesis was born from a simple yet powerful question:
How can design reduce barriers rather than create them?
Through case studies, expert insights, and inclusive design strategies, Blink offers practical solutions for navigating the unique cognitive experiences of neurodivergent users. The goal is to increase awareness, usability, and emotional connection in digital experiences without overwhelming or isolating the user.
This thesis explores:
The challenges neurodivergent users face in modern digital spaces.
The visual and cognitive principles designers often overlook.
concrete strategies to create cleaner, calmer, and more intuitive publications.
By bridging theory amd application, Blink Magazine becomes more than a final deliverable-it’s a toolkit for real-world change in design thinking and practice.
